Yay! Episode 7! Special… Episode 18. I know there’s something about preschool because someone messaged me about that. But they’re really cute.
Atsushi wants a ball and Kunikida tries using his ability, but he can’t write the words for “ball” ouch. Also why is Dazai a teacher…
Tanizaki and Naomi will always be close regardless of the situation.Kenji’s just eating and sleeping. Kyouka… says something about scissors and assassination.
And Chuuya is the school bully. Until Atsushi calls him short. Chuuya wants to grow taller… I mean… at least he drinks milk unlike certain other people.
Dazai reads “No Longer Human” by Dazai Osamu for the kids, which um… as they all think, is definitely not suitable reading material for children. Dazai notices their expressions and asks what they want instead. “Discourse on Decadence?” (A book by Sakaguchi Ango…)
Akutagawa wants Rashoumon. Which is, well, his. Technically. Everyone wants the book that their author wrote, though not really, because it’s probably a total coincidence? (NOT).
Atsushi just thinks none of these are suitable for kids. Kouyou brings in picture books.
The next episode… we get a Ranpo and a Kajii. A Kajii who likes bombs already?!
Atsushi tries to make friends with Ranpo, who keeps pretending to be uninterested. Chuuya tries to challenge Kajii to rugby and… gets a lemon bomb in the face. Akutagawa thinks the bombs are fine as long as they aren’t used on Dazai-sensei. Meanwhile, Chuuya just wants to bomb Dazai…
Atsushi thinks Ranpo is cool and Ranpo goes all tsundere or whatever. But he’s getting along! very well.
And Odasaku gets to be Odasaku Man, a kid TV show superhero. Chuuya pretends to be uninterested, but he actually cares about it a lot. Yeah he’s a tsundere too. Dazai also likes it. I thought so, since in the anime Odasaku and Dazai (were) friends.
Akutagawa remembers seeing Dazai at an Odasaku Man show. Higuchi there was definitely very “it’s Akutagawa!!” – except Tachihara was there too.
They get snacks. But the snack place is ruined. Apparently Dazai ruined it… and he gets attacked with lemon bombs. Poor Dazai.
The Preschool BSD characters are very cute. Speaking of which, I wonder if this April they’ll come back on the game…
